Aim
The project aims to empower sole proprietors, especially young people, migrants and underrepresented groups, and help them transition from self-employment to sustainable startups and job creators by providing entrepreneurial, business and digital innovation skills.
Objectives
- Equip young sole proprietors, migrants, and underrepresented individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to transition from self-employment to startup creation.
- Develop a modular learning resource focused on business modeling, productization, lean startup methodology, financial literacy, and growth strategies to support the entrepreneurial journey of sole proprietorships.
- Train youth workers and support professionals to provide effective guidance and mentoring to independent entrepreneurs developing startups.
- Organize “SHIFT” Bootcamps in each partner country, offering hands-on experience in building startups and fostering transnational knowledge exchange.
- Develop an online platform that provides open-access learning resources, enables networking, and supports the growth of startups led by sole proprietors across Europe.
- Support self-employed individuals from diverse backgrounds—including migrants, young people not in employment, education or training (NEETs), and those from underrepresented communities—to become job creators and drivers of innovation.
