International training in Italy puts the tools in youth workers’ hands

Partners met in Italy for the project’s international training, which built youth workers’ capacity to deliver financial and civic education using the two new tools: the INVEST IN YOUTH board game and the Finance is Civic guide.

Both tools were shaped directly by the baseline survey, and the training was the first time they were put in front of the people who would deliver them. Youth workers and young learners played through the game together, tested the facilitation notes, and worked out how to connect each moment of play back to real financial and civic concepts.

Hosted in Italy, the country that after Portugal showed the greatest need in the baseline data, the training set up the local delivery phase that followed in all three partner countries.
